Great for every age has a pool and Mini golf also a river for boating

Nice spots along the river

Awesome place right on the lamprey river.

I Miss this place so much . but it is no longer as good it once was. even though I trust all who have been to the new place . It named today . It not the same as it once was after it changed . Owners I'm sure there nice . But :( it just not the same no more. Ps: just so every one know I grew up camp here thIs place is for kids but the kids have to make friends and go away from mom and dad for the day. Not stay with mom and dad . There are 2 pool if they are still there . A pound not really a beach.the river and the falls . Alway thing for kids to do . And Day and night the adluts also do there own things. Family time is usually dances. And stuff and the the art place and rec hall if it all still there. And other thing that happen for family. Ect baseball games ect . and the rec hall in the back of it also used to be a game room for the kids. Thing change but if the camp ground is pretty much kind the same then there alway something for kids to do.

The experience here has been poor. My husband and I reserved tr1 with the expectation that it had Waterfront as well as a good spot for camping. The advertisement for this Campground shows a beach. We have a four year old and a three month old and were eager to Camp with a beach capable of accommodating both of them. When we arrived we were looking for the beach and went to the front desk, we got a very short answer that the "beach" needed maintenance, and there was not a maintenance scheduled soon. They showed us on the map where it was located, we get down there the beach looked nothing like the photo on their Google Maps picture. There was no sand, it is all grown in, and maybe a 3ft diameter where you can walk in on top of piles of wet leaves. We went back to the front desk, and asked if they knew of any areas near us that we could bring our children swimming, that was not in the overcrowded pool with no shade and their response was they were unsure because they were not from this area. The bathrooms were not clean and smell like stale urine as if they had not been cleaned in some time. Campsite is not cleaned after people leave, we witnessed the site next to us leave and no one came to clean it, our site was not cleaned prior to us arriving as the fire pit was half full of Ash. We are not happy with the false advertising that this campsite gives. Before booking any campsite, we recommend you visiting before your trip.
